NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR

Welcome, I am so happy you’re here!

It takes a great deal of courage to pursue your passions and I am so proud of you! Nothing brings me more joy than watching students reach their goals. Maybe, it’s to memorize a song in a different language or play an iconic song on the guitar by Rush or get up on stage for the first time and own your moment. Whatever your goal and wherever you are on your journey - I am honoured to be a part of it.

I believe music has special powers. It fosters the creative light in all of us and provides a safe to be vulnerable. Studying music allows us to really discover who we are and to share our uniqueness with others.

I am tickled pink to be the director of a team that shares these same values as artists & educators. First and foremost, we believe music should be fun! When you walk into JKW Studio, you will be greeted with joyful & passionate teachers and a place to safely express who you are through music.

Music education is not one size fits all. Whether you are just starting out, or rekindling your passion from childhood, my first pursuit is to find a teacher that fits your personality and needs. I look forward to chatting with you and I can’t wait to see you own your moment at the next studio concert!
